Minister of Labor and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan, in a statement made on his social media account, stated that they continue to support women at all levels of working life and that they are trying to prevent working mothers from moving away from employment due to childcare responsibilities. Stating that they support women’s employment in the second term of the ‘Supporting Registered Women’s Employment Project’, Minister Işıkhan made the following statements:
“We support mothers and ensure that they remain in formal employment in order to prevent them from moving away from employment due to childcare responsibilities. Applications for the second term of our project start today. Within the scope of the project, 325 euros (11 thousand 339 liras) support will be provided to mothers working for 12 months in Ankara, Istanbul and Izmir. A total of 7 thousand women will benefit from the project, which also aims to encourage trained and insured childcare.”

Within the scope of the Project for Supporting Registered Women’s Employment through the Promotion of Trained Child Caregivers II (EDU-CARE II), applications can be made via e-Government via the link below.
Thanks to the project, both mothers will not be disconnected from employment with the financial support they receive and the employment of trained and certified childminders will be encouraged.
