A 3-storey building collapsed in Küçükçekmece for an undetermined reason. 1 person lost his life and 8 people were rescued with injuries. The moment of the collapse was reflected on the dash cam of an IETT bus.
At 11.30 am, Istanbul Governorate announced that the lifeless body of 1 citizen was reached in the rubble as a result of the collapse. As of 11.50 am, all the injured people in the rubble were removed. Hacı Murat Gençtürk, the owner of the collapsed building in Küçükçekmece, where 8 people were injured and 1 person died, and Ö.A.D., the owner of the doner shop under the collapsed building. were detained within the scope of the investigation initiated by Küçükçekmece Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office. Minister Yerlikaya also made a statement: “We are conducting both judicial and administrative investigations”
