According to a statement from the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy rainfall expected in the southwest of Marmara and the northern Aegean will begin from the early hours tomorrow. It is anticipated that there will be heavy rain and showers in the areas surrounding Balıkesir, the southern and eastern parts of Çanakkale, the northern parts of İzmir and Manisa, and the western parts of Kütahya, with heavy rain and snow mixed with rain in higher elevations, and locally intense snow.
For this reason, precautions are advised against potential flooding, waterlogging, icing, and disruptions to transportation due to freezing conditions.
