Panathinaikos, captained by Fatih Terim, will face Aris, one of the well-established teams in Greece, in the Greek Cup Final on May 25th. According to reports in the Greek press, French female referee Stephanie Frappart will officiate the final match.
Stephanie Frappart had previously officiated the UEFA Super Cup final between Liverpool and Chelsea at the Tüpraş Stadium in Istanbul, the home of Beşiktaş. With this match, Frappart became the first female referee to officiate the final of a major European competition.
