The incident occurred yesterday around 19.30 in Kağıthane Sultanselim neighborhood. According to the information obtained, the landlord Behçet A. rented his house, which he bought 5 months ago, to a married man with 5 children. 5 months after the renting, the landlord Behçet A. wanted to place his eldest son who was going to get married in the house he rented.
He did not evacuate the house despite the offer of “don’t pay rent for 3 months and then vacate the house”
Behçet A. then met with his tenant and told him that his son would get married and live in his house, and that he would not charge him rent for 3 months so that he would not be victimized, but that he wanted him to vacate the house afterwards. The tenant, who accepted the offer, allegedly did not leave the house after 3 months by deceiving the landlord with various excuses. While the landlord was waiting for the day the tenant would leave, yesterday evening the landlord Behçet A. called his tenant to discuss the latest situation. When the landlord Behçet A. asked when he would leave the house on the phone, his tenant allegedly replied, “I am not leaving your house. Let the king come and take him out.”

The landlord Behçet A., enraged by the answer he received, showed up at the door of his tenant with his sons. The argument that started in the building suddenly grew and overflowed to the street. The neighbors rescued the beaten tenant with difficulty in the fight. The young son of the landlord, who came to the middle of the fight with a gun, shouted “I will turn this place into a bloodbath” in the middle of the street.
“I have 5 children, how can I get out”
The parties separated after the intervention of the police teams who came to the scene upon the notification of the citizens. The beaten tenant was heard saying to his neighbors, “I have 5 children, I have a wife, she says get out of my house, how can I get out”, while all these events were reflected on the cameras. According to the claim of the landlord, it was learned that there was 300 thousand liras of damage in the house.
