Police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Coast Guard teams brought the body ashore. It was determined that the body brought ashore belonged to a woman.

Fisherman Cem Tansever said, ‘I swear we didn’t see the incident, when we arrived in the morning, there were police teams in the harbour and it is said that fishermen friends saw a woman’s body in the sea. They informed the police and the coast guard, took the body out of the sea and put it here. The crime scene was investigated. The police took the body and took it away to make the necessary investigations.” The body, which was found to have no identity card, was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute Morgue after the investigation.
