The details of the meeting between President Erdoğan and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel continue to become clearer. At the critical summit, it was learned that Erdoğan instructed Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek to meet with the CHP staff after the feast upon Özel’s suggestion to find resources.
President and AK Party Chairman Erdoğan visited CHP Chairman Özgür Özel at the CHP Headquarters on Tuesday. The meeting, which was closed to the press, lasted about 1.5 hours.
CHP Istanbul MP and member of the Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee Namık Tan and AK Party Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş also took part in the meeting. Presidential Chief of Staff Hasan Doğan, Presidential Chief Security and Foreign Policy Advisor Akif Çağatay Kılıç and Presidential Communications Director Fahrettin Altun also came to the CHP Headquarters with Erdoğan.

CHP staff conveyed the details and said that President Erdoğan gave instructions to Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek. Accordingly, CHP’s economic staff will meet with Şimşek after the Eid.
