The incident occurred at the shalwar festival organized in the rural Akbaşlar Neighborhood of İnegöl. The fireworks thrown at the event exploded after falling on the women who were playing. E.K. (11), M.A. (23), N.K. (16) and S.A. (52) were injured. The injured were taken to Inegol State Hospital by private vehicles.
Gendarmerie command teams started an investigation into the incident.
