At the Assembly meeting, the Transportation Study Report for the Üsküdar-Kadıköy-Maltepe Tram Line, for which feasibility studies were completed, came to the agenda.

According to the joint report of the Transportation and Traffic Commission and the Zoning and Public Works Commission, the line, which will start from Üsküdar Square to Kadıköy dock and then to Maltepe, will be 21.3 kilometers long and consist of 33 stops.

The daily passenger numbers of the line, the construction of which is planned to start this year, are calculated as 198 thousand 964 in 2027, 277 thousand 302 in 2040 and 312 thousand 356 in 2050.

The line, which was named “AnadoluTRAM” in the previous introduction, will be integrated with Marmaray at Söğütlüçeşme station and the newly designed Yenidoğan-Söğütlüçeşme metro line. It will also connect with Ümraniye-Ataşehir-Göztepe and Dudullu-Bostancı metro lines on the route.
