Turkish Bayraktar AKINCI TUAV successfully took part in the mission to locate the downed helicopter of Iranian President Reisi. This development, which received wide coverage in the world press, was also reported by the Russian news agency TASS. It was stated that the Turkish UAV located the helicopter and transmitted the coordinates to Iran. India-based The Daily Guardian newspaper detailed the details of the TUAV’s mission and headlined “Rescue teams mobilized after Turkish drone detected the heat source”.
Chinese media outlet CGTN also gave extensive coverage to the news and praised Turkey for extending a helping hand to Iran. Arab media also recognized the role of the Turkish TUAV.
