Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç spoke about the cost of Jose Mourinho. Koç said, “We agreed with Jose Mourinho and his team for 12 million Euros.”
Speaking to Halk TV, Koç explained Mourinho’s transfer process as follows; “The timing was very important in convincing Mourinho. We continued our studies to see what options there are if we need a coach. One of them was Jose Mourinhoy. Mario Branco first told Jose Mourinho about Fenerbahce. We told him about our dreams. After explaining what Fenerbahçe means, we explained Fenerbahçe’s football operations. We prepared a 100-page report and he was impressed.”
Ali Koç announced that Jose Mourinho’s annual cost with his entire team is 12 million Euros. “Aziz Yıldırım offered Mourinho 15 million euros per year. We agreed with Mourinho and his team for a total of 12 million Euros per year. This is the proof of how much Jose Mourinho believes in our projects.”
