Jean Onana, Beşiktaş’s soccer player sent on loan to Marseille, was attacked by car thieves on Sunday night. The criminals failed to steal the car but targeted Onana with a firearm. Onana and his teammate Moumbagna escaped unhurt. The thieves who fled the scene are being sought.

Jean Onana, who joined Beşiktaş at the beginning of the season and went on loan to Marseille in the interim transfer period, came back from the dead.

According to Europe 1, the French footballer was allegedly attacked by car thieves at around 04.00 on Sunday night. The criminals failed to steal the car but used firearms. Jean Onana and his teammate Moumbagna were reportedly unhurt, while their car was reportedly riddled with bullet holes. The car thieves reportedly fled the scene quickly and are being sought by law enforcement.
