Sinan Ateş’s wife Ayşe Ateş told journalist Fatih Altaylı that she was also under death threat.
Ayşe Ateş said, “Ayşe Ateş’s murder is being planned behind closed doors. It is being talked about. I have applied for protection to the Ministry of Interior. They will kill Ayşe Ateş too, let you know.”
