A donation worth 49,205,000 FCFA was delivered to the National Solidarity Fund for the Protection of the Homeland (FSSP) during a ceremony held at the Niamey Congress Center, organized by the Chinese company CNPC.
The donation consists of various essential items, including 20 tons of rice, 10 tons of flour, 100 liters of cooking oil, 2 boxes of medicine, 3 tents, and 100 school bags with school supplies.
CNPC CEO Zhou Zuokun, who delivered the donation, emphasized the importance of this assistance for the people of Niger, stating, “Since CNPC arrived in Niger in 2023, we have continued to support economic and social development. This donation symbolizes the friendship and solidarity between China and Niger.”
FSSP President Ms. Brah Reki Djermakoye thanked CNPC and the Chinese Ambassador to Niger, H.E. Mr. Jiang Feng, assuring that the donation would be used wisely and that invitations for the cultural performance to be announced during the National Telethon event on December 14 would be extended.
This donation marks an important step in strengthening the cooperation between China and Niger.
