Edremit Bay of Balıkesir, one of the important tourism centers of Turkey, stands out with its proximity to big cities such as Istanbul, Bursa and Izmir. Recently, seasonal rental villas and summer houses in the region continue to attract attention with their high prices and increasing demand.
According to real estate market experts, the prices of rental villas in the Gulf of Edremit can sometimes reach up to 1 million liras. Especially popular regions such as Ayvalık attract great interest from both local and foreign tourists. Real estate agent Ahmet Yüksel explains the situation in the sector as follows: “There has been a recession in real estate sales since the beginning of this year. However, prices for seasonal rentals range between 300 thousand liras and 1 million liras and demand is quite high.”
Arif Zeka adds the following about prices: “It is possible to rent a house here for those with a high budget, with prices starting from 300 thousand liras for seasonal rentals. Prices increase depending on the touristic popularity of the region.”
Edremit Bay continues to be a favorite of both holidaymakers and investors with its natural beauties and ease of transportation. Rental villas in the region attract a lot of attention, especially in the summer months, which increases rental prices.
