It is reported that the change in the AK Party will start in a few days. At the first stage, it is rumored that some deputy chairmen will part ways. A change is also expected in the cabinet.
The AK Party is nearing the end of the consultation process regarding the election results. President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan gave the message of change at yesterday’s group meeting with the statement “If we have friends who are tired, if they have mistakes and faults, we will take them to rest by protecting our brotherhood law”.
According to the daily Türkiye, the first step will be taken in the AK Party in a few days. In this context, it is stated that at least five deputy chairmen will be dismissed at the headquarters and the congress process will be carried out with the names to be appointed instead.
AK Party sources said, “The congress will not be held with the current staff. The party administration will change and the new administration will carry out the congress process.”
A change is on the way in the Cabinet
According to AK Party circles, the changes will not be limited to the party administration, but may also include changes in the cabinet and the bureaucracy in the asylum.
It was learned that the number of presidential policy boards and chief advisors would be reduced and that a study was being conducted within the presidency on this issue. It was also stated that there would be changes in the structure of the policy committees.
