According to the news in Gazete Duvar, Slovenia’s Foreign Ministry announced that the EU Commission increased visa fees to 90 Euros. The visa fee for children between the ages of 6-12 was increased from 40 Euros to 45 Euros.
The EU has also increased the visa fee for countries showing “insufficient cooperation in accepting readmission” of deported persons from member states to 135/180 euros.
When do the new fees apply?
The new tariff will come into force on June 11.
The European Commission, which announced the increase in visa fees on February 2, has not yet made a statement, but the official decision is expected to be announced this weekend.
