In İlkadım district, İsa Aydın allegedly resigned from his job at a pharmaceutical distribution company on June 1. One day later, at around 07:00, Aydın forced Bekir T., with whom he worked, into a taxi owned by B.O. (29) and assaulted him on his way to work. Aydın took Bekir T. to 19 Mayıs district, where he forced him to order a phone worth 49,500 liras over the internet. Then Aydın transferred 58,700 liras from Bekir T.’s bank card to his own bank account piece by piece and dropped Bekir T. to his house in his own car.

Ilkadım Crime Prevention and Investigation Bureau teams, who started working with Bekir T.’s denunciation, detained taxi driver B.O. and O.A. (34), who were with him at the time, on June 7. B.O. was released after his statement at the police station, while O.A. was released by the judge at the courthouse with judicial control conditions. Isa Aydın went to the police station yesterday and surrendered to the police. The suspect, who was referred to the courthouse today, was arrested by the judge. “I did nothing to lower my head,” Aydın said to the journalists who were watching him as he was taken out of the courthouse and put into a vehicle to be sent to prison.
