A person waiting at the bus stop in Gökçebey district of Zonguldak was beaten by the people he warned for speaking abusive language and had his money stolen during the brawl.
In Gökçebey district of Zonguldak, a person waiting at the bus stop was disturbed by the abusive speech of two people he did not know around him. Upon warning the persons, the citizen was attacked by two people and was beaten. The victim, who dropped his wallet during the brawl, reported that the 500 TL money in it was stolen and filed a complaint. After the incident, a special team supported by Gendarmerie Detectives (JASAT) was established by Zonguldak Provincial Gendarmerie Command. As a result of extensive research and investigation, the identity information of two suspects was reached. It was determined that the suspects fled the scene by hitchhiking and bought a train ticket from Çaycuma district to Karabük. On the same day, in a simultaneous operation carried out with Karabük Provincial Gendarmerie Command, one of the suspects was arrested at the railway station in Yenice district of Karabük and the other was arrested and detained in the village where he resided in Karabük. Two suspects, who were referred to the courthouse upon the instruction of the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, were arrested for ‘threat, insult and plunder’ and sent to Closed Penal Execution Institution.
