In Adana’s Kozan district of Adana, where vehicle thermometers show 49 degrees Celsius, municipality loudspeakers called for water to be placed in front of houses and workplaces.
In Kozan, where the all-time June temperature record was broken, today the air temperature was 44 degrees according to the meteorology data, while the vehicle thermometers showed 49 degrees.
Animals were affected as much as humans due to the hot weather. For this reason, Kozan Municipality loudspeakers called on citizens and tradesmen to put a container of water in front of everyone’s workplace and home.
Kozan tradesmen and citizens obeyed this call and put water in front of their workplaces and houses. Some animals were seen drinking water from these containers.
