People shed tears when they saw the tombstone of 2-year-old Nisanur baby who died after being sexually abused by Furkan S. in Çaycuma district of Zonguldak.
In the incident that took place two years ago on May 18th in İstasyon Neighborhood of the district, a woman named M.Ö. met F.S. and spent the night with him. The next day, mother M.Ö. took her 8-year-old daughter and went to the market. Allegedly, while their 2-year-old daughter Nisanur Ö. was watching a video on her phone, F.S. sexually assaulted the little girl. When the little girl fainted, he repeatedly hit her head against the wall to wake her up. After the doctor’s control, F.S. was arrested and sent to prison when it was revealed that the girl was sexually assaulted.
After the incident, the grave of little Nisanur, whose funeral was removed by the district protocol, was buried in Yenişehir Cemetery where orphans are also buried. The gravestone of Nisanur Ö., which was built by philanthropists in the incident that Turkey talked about, read “And the day of reckoning will surely come when everyone will be given the reward they deserve. Sleep in peace, my heavenly-smelling baby”.
