In Bursa, police teams carried out a check against drunk drivers. A young driver was caught in a dead end when he saw the enforcement point.
The driver, whose driver’s license was taken twice before for alcohol, put the police through a test of patience with the effect of alcohol and his relaxed attitude when he saw the breathalyzer in front of him. While the moments when the unresponsive driver infuriated the police were reflected on the camera, the driver was fined 18 thousand liras.
Police teams conducting traffic enforcement in Yıldırım district fined drivers who were drunk and violated the rules. A driver who saw the police teams making an application tried to escape with his vehicle and entered a dead-end road. When the driver, who was noticed by the civilian traffic team, saw the police, he said, “If you take my driver’s license, it will go for 5 years.”
Trying to negotiate with the teams, the driver was speechless when he saw the breathalyzer. The driver, who did not answer the police teams’ question for minutes, infuriated the police. After minutes of effort by the police teams, the driver refused to blow into the breathalyzer and was fined 18 thousand Turkish Liras.
On the other hand, while the vehicle was banned from traffic, it was learned that his driver’s license had been revoked 2 times before due to alcohol. The patience test of the police was reflected on the camera moment by moment.
The police said to the drunk driver, “Mesut; you have no chance not to blow. Now please answer. 50 promile is yours, 51 promile is mine. You will only blow.” The driver said, “Can’t you not blow? Is there no way out? I’ll let him go. I know there is no negotiation. If you get it this time, it will be for 5 years.”
Driver Mesut D.’s car was also banned from traffic because he did not blow the breathalyzer.
It is learned that if the driver blows the breathalyzer, he will be banned for 5 years in total since he was banned 2 times before, but since he did not blow the breathalyzer, his driver’s license will be banned for 2 years.
