Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) published Weekly Securities Statistics. Accordingly, non-residents acquired a net 34.5 billion securities in the week of June 21.
Weekly Securities Statistics were published by the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT).
Accordingly, non-residents bought a net 34.5 million dollars worth of government securities and 7.1 million dollars worth of assets of the Non-Governmental Sector (NGDS) in the week of June 21, while selling 158.3 million dollars worth of stocks.
Thus, non-residents were on the buying side in GDDS for 13 consecutive weeks for the first time in history.
In the week of June 21, non-residents’ GDDS stock decreased from $ 11 billion 235.7 million to $ 11 billion 132.3 million.
Non-residents’ equity stocks, which were 40 billion 331.9 million dollars as of June 14, increased to 40 billion 622 million dollars on June 21, and SDS stocks increased from 394.1 million dollars to 396.8 million dollars.
