President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Italy.
According to the statement made by the Presidential Communications Directorate, during his meeting with Al Nahyan in Borgo Egnazia in Italy, where he is attending the G7 Leaders Summit, Erdogan discussed relations between Turkey and the United Arab Emirates, regional and global issues.
During the meeting, President Erdoğan said that it is important for the Islamic World to unitedly oppose the genocidal policies of Israel in the Palestinian territories.
Erdoğan stated that the immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and the easy delivery of humanitarian aid to the Palestinians should be considered as the primary agenda item and efforts should be made for these.
