President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan answered journalists’ questions after Friday prayers at Hz. Ali Mosque.
“(Relations with Syria) There is no reason why they should not be established.” President Erdoğan said, “(Assad’s statement to Turkey) We will act together with Syria in developing these relations in the same way as we have acted together in the past.”
“(Relations with Syria) We can never have a problem or a goal such as interfering in Syria’s internal affairs,” Erdoğan said.
Meeting with Bahçeli
President Erdoğan said, “(Meeting with Bahçeli) We discussed with Mr. Devlet what is happening in the political development of our country right now, what measures should we take? We made an evaluation of these.”
