President Erdoğan said, “No faith legitimizes the burning to death of innocent civilians in their tents. The world is watching the barbarism of the vampire called Netanyahu on live TV.”
President and AK Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, in his speech at the AK Party Parliamentary Group Meeting, reminded that today is the 571st anniversary of the Conquest of Istanbul, the golden link in the chain of conquests that began in 1071.
Erdoğan said that he once again commemorated with mercy Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror and his army who, at the age of 21, gifted Istanbul to the nation with his military and political genius, first-class engineering, monumental personality, knowledge and courage.
Reminding that Sultan Mehmet the Conqueror conquered Istanbul 571 years ago when he was only 21 years old, closing an era and opening the doors of a new one, Erdoğan stated that Istanbul has become the center of power, administration, science and art of the Turkish and Islamic world since then.
Emphasizing that as important as the conquest of Istanbul is for the history of the world, it is equally important for the nation’s character, its founding power and its identity as a “conquering nation”, Erdoğan said:
“Without understanding the conquest, one cannot understand our nation’s vision, the ideal of the Red Sea. Without understanding the conquest, the determination, belief, horizon and strategy that marches ships by land cannot be understood. Without understanding the conquest, one cannot understand why Yahya Kemal described Istanbul as ‘Turkish Istanbul’. Conquest means turning Istanbul’s dark fortune into light. Conquest means turning the city into a rose garden, a garden of the heart, following the advice to ‘open Istanbul, make it a rose garden’. Conquest means to make it prosperous; to make not only the land, not only the cities, but also the hearts flourish. Those who call the conquest ‘occupation’, those who defile the walls of Istanbul with the inscriptions ‘the persecution began in 1453’ are no different from the Crusader hordes who invaded the city 250 years before the conquest of Istanbul, leaving no stone unturned, looting the relics in the temples and the dowries of women.”
“We will continue to protect and beautify our Istanbul”
Underlining that they will not tolerate Istanbul to be separated from the spirit of conquest and Fatih, Erdoğan emphasized that Istanbul is Turkish and Muslim and will remain so forever, even if some still cannot accept it.
Stating that at no stage of his political life did they ever look at Istanbul as a city among cities, Erdoğan said that Istanbul was first and foremost a relic of the ancestors, Fatih Sultan Mehmet Khan, all the soldiers, martyrs and veterans of the blessed army.
Stating that Istanbul is the apple of the nation’s eye and that they have always acted with this awareness while serving Istanbul, Erdoğan continued as follows:
“We freed Hagia Sophia from its chains and reopened it for worship in accordance with the legacy of Fatih. This is why we put our stamp on every inch of the city with our works and services. God willing, we will continue to protect, protect and beautify our beloved Istanbul. I would like to take this opportunity to wish God’s mercy on all our veterans and martyrs who took part in the Conquest, especially Sultan Fatih. May the souls of our martyrs and veterans who have honored these lands with their blessed blood from the first conquest movements to the present day with the love of right, the love of prophet, the love of homeland, the love of independence be blessed. I wish that the 571st anniversary of the conquest of Istanbul will once again be auspicious and blessed for you and our entire nation.”
“We have never been interested in the issue of who stabbed whom”
Reminding that yesterday was the first anniversary of the second round of the Presidential election held on May 28, 2023, Erdoğan said that in the second round of the election held on May 28, he once again assumed office with 52.2 percent of the nation’s vote.
On May 28th, Erdoğan expressed his gratitude to the saintly nation who once again entrusted the duty to him with a record voting rate and noted the following:
“The secret agreements that were revealed after the May 28 elections reveal how our country was on the brink of a great disaster. We have been following how easily those who talk about homeland, nation and morality sell all the values they defend for the sake of their seats and their paltry political interests. I have said it before; what has been revealed is only the tip of the iceberg. The real big scandals, dirty and insidious negotiations are hidden under the water. Those who will shed light on the dark spots are the actors of the period. It is important for the presidential candidate of the coalition of 6 to clear the clouds of suspicion while he still has plenty of time. Instead of poisoning Turkish politics and dragging our country into unnecessary debates that will waste time, cash and energy, let him come out and clear the question marks in the minds of the nation. He should stop talking in sign language and insinuations and confess everything openly. We have never been interested in the issue of who stabbed whom, but we did not allow that poisonous dagger dripping with blood to be stabbed into the back of our nation in the May 14-28 elections.”
Emphasizing that they are aware of the heavy responsibility that the nation has entrusted to him, the AK Party and the People’s Alliance, Erdoğan said that as the AK Party and the People’s Alliance, they are the guarantee of Turkey’s unity, vitality and bright future.
President Erdoğan stated that they firmly hold the trust of not only those who voted for them, but also those who have different preferences.
Emphasizing that they continue to run without stopping or pausing in order to be worthy of the trust of all 85 million citizens, Erdoğan said, “We are working hard for the construction of the Turkish Century; for a strong, prosperous Turkey that has a claim and influence in global politics. After our cabinet meeting on Monday, I hope we will share the one-year report card of our government with the public. Inshallah, we will give our nation an account of what we have done, what services, projects and works we have brought to our country in the last 1 year. I hope that our Lord will not let us be ashamed of our country and our nation. I would like to thank each and every one of my approximately 28 million citizens who supported us on May 28 together with our expatriates.”
“You openly supported Israel”
Stating that the genocide carried out by Israel in Gaza entered a much bloodier phase with the attacks on Rafah region where millions of civilians took refuge, Erdoğan noted that at least 45 innocent Palestinians were martyred in the attack on the tents where civilians in the supposedly safe region were struggling to survive.
Stating that his heart and soul could not bear to look at the images, Erdoğan said that a father, in desperation, showed his baby, only a few months old, whose head was severed, to the conscience of the world and humanity, if he still had any left.
Reminding the 9th verse of Surah Tekvir, Erdoğan said:
“What did you want from 15 thousand innocent children? Is there not a shred of humanity left in you? Have you no conscience? Have you no mercy? Do you have no value, no limits, no boundaries? Are you so hostile to humanity? Do you not have an iota of compassion in your hearts? No religion on earth can legitimize this atrocity. No belief, no ideology, no matter how perverted, can justify the decapitation of an innocent baby or the burning to death of innocent civilians in their tents. The world is watching the barbarism of a patient, a maniac, a psychopath, a vampire called Netanyahu who feeds on blood, and he is watching it on live TV. O American state, this blood is on your hands too. You are as responsible for this genocide as Israel. O heads of state and government of Europe; you have become a partner in this genocide, this barbarism, this vampirism of Israel. Because you kept silent. They shot hospitals, schools, mosques, you were silent. They shot an aid convoy, you kept silent. They shot journalists, doctors, aid workers, you kept silent. Mass graves were found in hospital gardens, you did not react. You openly supported Israel by saying ‘Hamas’.”
“In Gaza, not only humanity but also the United Nations has died with its soul”
Stating that not only innocent children of humanity were dying in Gaza, not only genocide was taking place, Erdoğan said that while humanity was dying in Gaza, democracy, human rights, freedom of expression, freedom of the press, the rights of women and children were also dying in Europe.
Erdoğan said that from now on, no European should talk about democracy, human rights, freedom of expression, freedom of expression and freedom of the press with arrogance, finger wagging and arrogant language, adding that Israel was killing humanity in Gaza, while Europe was killing its own values and trampling underfoot all the values that brought it into existence.
Reminding that they have been shouting “The world is bigger than five” on every international platform they have found for years and on the rostrum of the United Nations, Erdoğan addressed the United Nations and used the following expressions:
“In the 21st century, if you cannot stop a genocide that is being watched live by all humanity, what good are you? If the future of the world is at the whim of five countries, what is the need for all those huge buildings, all those expenses, all those people? Let alone stopping the genocide, the United Nations could not even protect its own personnel, its own aid workers. In Gaza, not only humanity but also the United Nations died with its soul.
I have a couple of words for the Islamic world: What are you waiting for to take a joint decision? What should be the reaction? Dogs are eating the bodies of martyrs on the streets of Gaza. Israeli terrorists break into Muslim homes and post photos from their bedrooms. Muslim children are slaughtered in hospitals. Babies are decapitated. People are burned in tents. When will you see this? When will you react? When will you come together and take a decisive stance? When will the Organization of Islamic Cooperation pursue an effective, deterrent policy against these atrocities? When will the Islamic world protect the rights, laws and lives of their Palestinian brothers and sisters? I swear Allah will hold you and all of us to account for this.”
Emphasizing that Allah will ask those who turn a blind eye, turn a deaf ear, remain silent and unresponsive while a handful of terrorists commit Muslim genocide in the very center and heart of the Islamic geography, Erdoğan said, “Everyone living in this geography should know and understand this very well: No one, no country, no state is safe without Israel coming under the control of international law and seeing itself bound by international law. I say this clearly, including Turkey. Do you think this barbarism is limited to Gaza? They will never, ever be satisfied with drinking blood. As long as there are those who pat them on the back, they will never, ever stop.”
Noting that a lawless and lawless Israel is a threat not only for Palestine, not only for Gaza, but also for all humanity and world peace, Erdoğan said that Hitler, whom Netanyahu is following today, was stopped, albeit late, by the alliance of America and the Soviet Union. “This genocide, this atrocity, this barbarism must be stopped immediately with the alliance of humanity before it is too late, before Netanyahu and his murder network get completely out of control,” Erdoğan said.
President Erdoğan said, “More than 3 out of 4 of 193 UN member states recognize Palestine as a state. The common decision of 147 countries cannot be left to the whim of 5 countries. 147 is bigger than five.”
Erdoğan said, “Young people have begun to see how Zionism is an unruly perversion. I hope that this revolution will establish a world free of Zionist heresy.”
President Erdoğan said, “Israel is trying to put the Court of Justice and the judges under pressure. Israel must be prevented from destroying the last shred of faith in the administration of justice.”
“God willing, we will rid Turkey of the constitution that is the product of a coup and we will both finalize our reckoning with the coups and honor the souls of the heroes of democracy.”
President Erdoğan noted the following:
“We have a stray dog problem that does not exist in any developed country. Some countries have started to warn their citizens coming to Turkey about rabies and stray dogs. No one should try to lecture us on compassion. We wanted to solve the number of stray dogs with the ‘catch-neuter-release’ method, but this was not a solution.”
“The world is watching the barbarism of a patient, a maniac, a psychopath, a vampire who feeds on blood called Netanyahu, and they are watching it on live TV,” Erdoğan said.
President Erdoğan: “We want all animals taken to shelters to be adopted. If we can achieve this, we think there will be no need for the next step.”
