Some 80 schools, including American, French and Italian high schools, are preparing to enroll new students. Parents are in a difficult situation due to high costs. The fees of many schools have reached almost 1 million TL. Here is the price list of some private schools…
Parents have to spend a fortune to send their children to college. For example, Koç High School increased its fee by 130 percent from 448 thousand TL last year to 1 million 50 thousand TL this year. Robert College, on the other hand, set this year’s fee at 1 million 48 thousand TL.
According to Sabah newspaper, Koç High School, which accepted students in the 1.02 percentile in the LGS last year, increased its fee to 1 million 50 thousand TL this year. 332,500 TL is added to this price for 5-day boarding and 437,000 TL for 7-day boarding.
If a student who enrolls at Koç High School this year wants to complete his/her high school education here, the total amount he/she will pay in 5 years will exceed 7 million TL with the increases to be made in the intermediate grades.
Robert College is also among the schools that charge the highest fees. Robert College, which accepts students who are at least in the 0.5 percentile in the LGS, increased its preparatory class fee by 135 percent to 1 million 47 thousand 900 TL this year.
150 percent increase in French high schools
Preparatory class fees at prestigious French high schools, which admit students with LGS scores, have also increased by 150 percent. Notre-Dame de Sion French High School’s preparatory class fee was announced as 953 thousand 180 TL this year. Saint Benoit French High School has set a fee of 890 thousand TL.

- Private German High School: 905 thousand TL (stationery fee included, 10 installments).
- Izmir Saint Joseph French High School: 750 thousand TL.
- Üsküdar American High School: 975 thousand TL.
- Tarsus American College: 736 thousand TL.
- Izmir American College: 775 thousand TL.
- Sainte Pulcherie French High School: 862 thousand TL.
- Galileo Galilei Italian High School: 417 thousand TL.
