Yener Dikbaş, Head of Kurtuluş Neighborhood of Fatsa district of Ordu, donated his 2-year salary to the disabled and needy people in the district. Mukhtar Dikbaş also used the promotion given to them in the transfer of their salaries from one bank to another bank for charity.

Yener Dikbaş, who served as the Turkish Red Crescent Fatsa Disabled President for a while, was elected as the headman of Kurtuluş Neighborhood of the district in the 31 Local Administrations Local Elections. Dikbaş donated his 2-year salary to the disabled and needy people in the district, as he promised in his election campaigns, and used the 42 thousand 500 thousand lira promotion given to them in the transfer of salaries from one bank to another bank in the event organized for charity and disabled individuals.

Stating that he has been trying to fulfill social responsibility projects in the district regularly with the support of philanthropists for 20 years, Mukhtar Dikbaş said, “Our salaries were transferred from one bank to another bank, and from here we received a promotion of 42 thousand 500 TL. We organized an event to bring together orphans, strange and needy families and their children in our neighborhood and different neighborhoods. With some of this money, we bought wheelchairs and diapers, and philanthropic citizens also supported us in this regard.”

Donated his 2-year salary to disabled and needy people in the district

Stating that he will distribute the mukhtar’s salary equally for 2 years, Dikbaş said, “Before I became a mukhtar, we promised that we would spend our 2-year mukhtar’s salary on our orphans and strange offspring and disabled individuals in different parts of our district. I will distribute the salary of 17 thousand 2 liras, which our state has deemed worthy of me every month, to the families in need equally. I will fight until there are no bedridden patients, disabled people in need in this country. There is no description of the happiness of helping people with disabilities and people in need.”

Akgül Özcan, one of the residents of the neighborhood, said that such activities and aids organized by the mukhtar’s office are extremely meaningful for them.

On the other hand, various activities were held in the program organized for disabled people and children in front of Kurtuluş Neighborhood Mukhtar’s Office and food was served to the participants.
