The spectators who filled the entire Antalya Sports Hall supported the national team throughout the match. Starting the first set of the match fast, Turkey increased the difference up to 6 points in some parts of the set. With the effective play of Vargas, the Sultans of Turkish Filenin won the first set 25-19, bringing the score to 1-0. Starting the second set fast, Sultans of Filenin increased the difference up to 11 points with the effective play of Aslı Kalaç, Derya Cebecioğlu and Vargas. Although France tried to hold on to the match and had a 5-0 run, Turkey won the set 25-16 and brought the score to 2-0. France started the third set fast and brought the score to 7-2 at the beginning of the set. Recovering after the break, the Stars and Stars regained their dominance in the match.
