In May, the highest exports in the region were realized from Tekirdağ with 192 million 637 thousand 610 dollars. 18 million 44 thousand 940 dollars from Kırklareli, which ranked 2nd, and 7 million 610 thousand 530 dollars from Edirne.
In May last year, 160 million 936 thousand 890 dollars from Tekirdağ, 17 million 242 thousand 180 dollars from Kırklareli and 7 million 376 thousand 450 dollars from Edirne were exported.
3 provinces increased their share in exports by 32 million 737 thousand 560 dollars compared to the same period last year.
Most exports were made from Kırklareli and Edirne in the cereals, pulses, oil seeds and products sector and from Tekirdağ in the ferrous and non-ferrous metals sector.
Exports from the region, which were 880 million 211 thousand 600 dollars in the first 5 months of last year, increased in the same period this year and reached 925 million 959 thousand 500 dollars.
