Topkapı Palace, affiliated to the Presidency of National Palaces, will be opened to visitors at night for the first time in its history since 1924, when it started operating as a museum.

According to the statement made by the Presidency of National Palaces, the application, which offers the opportunity to explore Topkapı Palace at night, will start tomorrow. With the new application, Topkapı Palace can be visited every Saturday between 21.00-23.00.

Night visits to the palace will be organized in groups. The first group will be admitted tomorrow at 21.00 and the second group at 22.00. Care will be taken to ensure that the groups do not exceed 300 people.

Many sections can be visited at night

The starting and ending point of the night tours that will take history enthusiasts on a journey into the past will be Bab-ı Hümayun. Within the scope of the tour, the Divan-ı Hümayun, Kubbealtı and Palace Clocks Gallery in the second courtyard will be seen.

In the Harem section, the Karaağalar Masjid, Karaağalar Taşlığı, Concubines Corridor, Valide Sultan Apartment, Hünkar Bath, Murat III Has Room, Gözdeler Apartment and Mabeyn Taşlığı, Golden Road and Kuşhane Kitchen, which was recently opened to visitors with its new exhibition organization, will be visited.

Within the scope of the night visits, the Chamber of Arz, the Department of Sacred Relics, the Fatih Pavilion and the Treasury Exhibition in the third courtyard of Topkapı Palace will also be rediscovered.

The world-famous Treasure Exhibition of Topkapı Palace will also feature masterpieces such as the Khashoggi Diamond, the Topkapı Dagger and the Golden Throne.

During the night tour of the palace, visitors will be able to stroll around the Terrace with Pool and watch Istanbul from the Iftariye Gazebo.

Special tickets for the tour will be available at the box office.
