A woman named Ayşe Demirtaş claimed that she was beaten in a residence on 3532nd Street in Şelale Neighborhood of Manavgat District of Antalya, and that a masked thief threatened her with her 1.5-year-old daughter, learned the location of the gold and stole it. It was reported that the camera investigations carried out by the Public Security Bureau teams did not find anyone matching the description of the young woman, and the young woman confessed that she had resorted to such a way due to 20 thousand TL credit card debt.

Manavgat Security Directorate Public Security Bureau and health teams, who came to a residence on 3532nd Street in Şelale Neighborhood yesterday upon a report of assault and theft, took a woman named Ayşe Demirtaş, who said that she was beaten by the person who knocked on the door as a courier, to the hospital for treatment. The young woman stated that the doorbell rang when she was at home with her 1.5-year-old daughter, that the person who introduced himself as a courier started to beat her as soon as she opened the door, hit her head against the wall, and that she had to tell the location of the gold when he threatened to kidnap her child.

Manavgat Security Directorate Public Security Bureau teams examined the security cameras near the crime scene and determined that no one matching the woman’s description entered the street and residence. It was reported that the young woman realized the seriousness of the incident at the police headquarters where she was taken after her treatment at the hospital and said that what she said at home was not true, that she made credit card expenditures without her husband’s knowledge, that she could not tell her husband because she was afraid, and that she resorted to such a way to cover this situation. It was stated that judicial action was taken against the young woman.
